We’ve always loved Dolly Parton for so many reasons, but especially for the way she has used her creativity, generosity, and platform to make a difference in the lives of children. Through her Imagination Library and her lifelong belief in the power of imagination, she reminds us that every child deserves the chance to dream, learn, create, and imagine what’s possible.

Those are things we believe in deeply at Spark, too. ✨

As our own small tribute to Dolly’s legacy, we created some Dolly-inspired coloring pages that you’re welcome to print and enjoy at home!

Or, if you’d like to celebrate with our Spark community, they’ll be out this morning during Creative Play, 9–11 AM. We’ll also be playing Dolly’s music with dance parties, instrument play, and plenty of sing-alongs throughout the morning. Come color, play, sing, and celebrate a little Dolly magic with us!

3D Print Club is moving to Fridays for Fall!

After a long week of school, Friday night is the perfect time to unwind, hang out, and make something awesome!

At 3D Print Club, kids can design their own creations, use the printers, play games, collaborate on group projects, and connect with other creative kids in a relaxed, social environment.

New to 3D printing? No problem! Beginners can start on our Toybox printers, which are designed with kids in mind and make learning the basics fun and easy.

For kids ready to take their skills further, Mr. Jason introduces 3D design using Tinkercad, Blender, and Bambu Studio—helping kids turn their ideas into printable creations, with no printer at home required.

Create. Print. Play. Connect. Friday nights just got a whole lot more creative!

For so many children, Spark is one of their first little steps toward school — a place to practice separating, making friends, trying new things, building confidence, and learning how to play alongside others.

They’re ready for preschool. They’re just not ready to say goodbye yet. 💛

We hear parents say, “I don’t think my child is ready for preschool,” all the time.

But being ready for preschool is about so much more than being ready to separate.

Is your child ready to play and learn alongside other children?
Ready to participate in a classroom routine?
Ready to listen to a teacher and follow directions?
Ready to make friends, take turns, try new things, and begin building independence?

Then they may be more ready than you think.

They can be ready for the preschool experience while still needing their trusted adult nearby.

That’s why our Play School allows children to experience preschool first, and transition to drop-off when they’re ready.

They’re ready. They just might need you beside them for a little while longer.

We’ve been listening to our families, and we’re excited to make a change to the way we structure our Play School program!

We’ve seen such a strong response to our Caregiver & Me classes, while many families have shared that their children aren’t quite ready for drop-off yet. And honestly? We think that’s okay. ❤️

We’ve always believed that being ready for preschool is about so much more than being ready to say goodbye.

So moving forward, ALL of our Bright Sparks Play School classes will begin as Caregiver & Me classes.

Your child will get to experience the classroom, build relationships with teachers and friends, practice routines, participate in activities, follow directions, and develop independence—all while having their trusted adult nearby.

And when your child is ready, drop-off will become an option.

There’s no rushing it and no “one size fits all” timeline. The transition to drop-off will happen when you, your child, and their teacher agree that they’re ready. Because learning to separate from a caregiver is a HUGE part of preschool readiness, too!

Our goal isn’t simply to get children comfortable with being dropped off.

Our goal is to help them become confident, capable, happy preschoolers—and to get them there at their own pace.

So if you’ve ever thought, “My child is ready for preschool… they’re just not ready to leave me yet,” we created this program for you.

They’re ready. They just might need you beside them for a little while longer. 💛
