"A classic cult film that features one of the screen's most unlikely pairs. It will defy everything you've ever seen or known about screen lovers. Bud Cort is Harold, a young man bored with wealth but interested in death. And Ruth Gordon is Maude, a wonderful old rascal who can see nothing but good intentions in the world."

Yolanda Wisher has created Room for Error [Easton], a collaborative community soundscape for the Cemetery tunnel on the .

Inspired by the deep listening experiments of Pauline Oliveros in acoustically fascinating spaces of enclosure, Wisher convened a small group of musicians to record an improvisational soundscape in the tunnel on April 4, earlier this spring. Later that day, after conducting a Room for Error community workshop at Lafayette's Williams Visual Arts Building, Wisher gathered audio from participants to be integrated into the soundscape recorded in the cemetery tunnel.

The project's inception will be celebrated with the inaugural playing of the soundscape in its finished state. In the near future, the soundscape will be permanently installed on the trail with motion-activated audio.

Wisher will greet her audience, say a few words about the project and play the newly composed work. A reception will follow the listening. All are welcome.
