Our next KSAT event combines live music and silent films on Saturday 9/12.
Join us for the Liz Keough Orchestra with Silent Films at 7 pm on Movie Hill across from the KSAT dog park. A free community program! (bring a chair/blanket.) The event is part of the Karl Stirner Arts Trail’s Movies and Music on the Trail series.

Hailed as a national treasure by Quarter Notes Magazine, Keough leads her Easton band sizzling and swinging through jumping, jiving, and thrilling party music. By turns wry and bombastic, Honest Liz deftly riffs on life, liberty, and the pursuit of an eight-to-the-bar groove.

Please see this important update from the regarding the trail's closure this coming Monday 8/31 for poison ivy spraying.
It won't be closed all day, but it will be closed in the morning and early afternoon that day. FYI

HEAD'S UP: This coming Monday 8/31, a city contractor will be spraying poison ivy along the Karl Stirner Arts Trail as we do every summer for visitor safety.

The trail will be closed from 8 am - 2 pm. Workers will be stationed at trailheads to let visitors know about the closure. Please do not go around the closures. Thank you.

If you've ever walked the , then you know this sculpture. Sitting aside the famous red arch by the trail's namesake, Steve Tobin's "Late Bronze Root" immediately captures the eye. It is made from reassembled castings of the delicate root system of a sycamore tree. The sculpture is part of Tobin’s Bronze Roots series.

The KSAT collection of 11 sculptures by Tobin is a generous gift from George Ball of Fordhook Farm/Burpee Gardening in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. The transportation and installation of the sculptures in Easton were funded by John Jaindl, VM Development Co., and anonymous donors.

In addition to Late Bronze Root, the works include Black Steel Root (2009) and Sprouts (2003), also on the KSAT; Corymb Exploding (2009) and Sunflower (2003) at Hugh Moore Park; Wreath (2009) at Scott Park; three sculptures from Tobin’s 2009 Weeds series at Hackett Park; and two pieces with locations to be determined.
