Cottage Street Cultural District

Cottage Street Cultural District A down-to-earth funky street full of art, artists, music, books and restaurants in a beautiful and natural setting.

Nestled in the Pioneer Valley at the foot of Mount Tom, the Cottage Street Cultural District is known for its beauty and its creative start-ups. • Platterpus Records, which is “like a record store used to be”
• Mt. Tom’s Homemade Ice Cream, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor and candy store
• Harry King Rug & Home, selling unique handmade rugs and textiles from around the world.
• Nash Gallery, a fine arts gallery and retailer of local jewelry, pottery, and clothing

• White Square – Fine Books & Art, featuring carefully chosen inventory and the opportunity to meet authors, poets, and illustrators

This Saturday will be a Trifecta at Wonderland. Our postponed sidewalk sale will be from 10-4 then we will have our Anniversary Party combined with Alice’s Birthday from 4-8 and everyone is invited!

7 years ago today I opened Wonderland. 10 months later Covid shut me down for 3 months. Scrambling to survive I focused on developing my online sales, used my savings in the bank and was able to keep the shop. Business always throws you curve balls but Covid was the biggest one. Then 5 years ago I got a text from my friend Brett asking if I wanted a kitten that he had just found in the mountains of South Carolina. That’s how Alice came into our lives and became the shop cat. She has been a little princess that has brought so much joy to so many people.
With the support of my partner, friends and customers Wonderland continues to build each year. With my fellow store owners we are building Cottage Street as a special destination. I love this City and am grateful to be part of it and hope to be for a long time.
