Today we enter the period of time I consider the dark moon. The moon becomes invisible in these days and we return to the place on the astrological wheel from which the new moon began its journey back on October 2nd. We' been traveling out of and returning in the dark into Justice, which in the Dark Goddess Tarot created by Ellen Lorenzi-Prince is Maat.

This is the time of the moonth when I release what I don't want to carry into the next lunation. This could be wonderful things that are complete and to be celebrated but I especially release what is troubling, unfinished, a weight on me. This dark moon I will leave behind how injustice has touched me this moonth. I release not in the sense that I don't think injustice will never return, but I want to remove its build up so I can continue to work for Justice, which is not a state to be achieved but a presence to be constantly renewed.
