ONE COTTAGE STREET is the home of dozens of regionally, nationally and internationally recognized and awarded artists and artisans. The factory building which over two decades ago enclosed almost four acres of empty space now sports a lively complex of human service programs, craftspeopl

e, light industries and artists. SINCE 1986 on the first weekend in December the artists and artisans of One Cottage Street have opened their doors to the public with an annual OPEN STUDIO AND HOLIDAY SALE. Seven years after our first open studio event we added a Spring Open Studio to make it a semi-annual event. From the smallest gifts to internationally recognized fine art there is something for everyone. Participating members work together to organize and fund the event, meeting many times throughout the course of a year and maintaining a loosely structured governing body. In the recent past we have also received financial support from various local institutions such as Big E's Supermarket, Riverside Industries, Easthampton Savings Bank, Florence Savings Bank, the Easthampton Cultural Council, and the Daily Hampshire Gazette. Many of the participating artists are frequent contributors to the dozens of local art auctions and charitable fundraisers held in the Pioneer Valley.

Need elevator access for Open Studios tomorrow and Sunday? The rear parking lot and A entrance is the easiest. Use the Liberty St or Cottage Square access, park on the side nearest the white garage in the photo, and enter by crossing the Courtyard.

Note, our neighbors at Cottage Street Studios Riverside Arts, will have their gallery open during Easthampton Artwalk.
Please be sure to visit them at the street level front entrance to the building. 4-7 p.m. on Saturday May 3. You can check them out in the last hour of Open Studios!
