VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We’re looking for a few volunteers with superb knitting/crochet skills to make hats, scarves, fingerless gloves, socks, etc. as holiday gifts to clients of the Eastham Food Pantry (Benny is enthusiastic, but sadly his knitting skills aren’t quite up to the task).
Last year’s project was a big success, so we’d like to do a reprise this year.
Ocean Purls will supply all the yarn for this project, if you’re interested, please contact us at 508-240-4427.
Please do not use yarn from other sources, or drop off any pre-made items; we’re making to order as much as possible with the best quality yarns.

Although we try to keep true to our regular business hours of Wednesday-Saturday, 10:30-4:30, with a staff of one, at times that’s not possible.
We want to give you a heads up:
- On Friday, Sept 4, we are closing early, at 2:30
- We will be closed from Sunday, 9/20/26 through
Tuesday 10/20/26. We reopen on Wednesday, 10/21.
Feel free to leave messages while we’re closed, but please be aware that response may take a day or two.

Apparently Meta found some our posts ‘suspicious’, and our page was taken down for a few days. (Done without notifying us). So if you tried to send us a message in past week and couldn’t, that’s why, but we’re back up and running once again.
