I was cleaning out my yarn storage and I found this beautiful container of mini skeins. I had big dreams for these, but I can't do everything. 😅

I made a listing on the website for sets of these if you love mystery packages like I do. Some are already grouped and ready to go. Others will be random. They are 75% superwadh merino and 25% Nylon blends, all sock weight.

There's a link in my bio if you want to pick some up. If you need a reason because you already have enough yarn, you can tell yourself I need help cleaning out my space. 🤣

There’s something magical about an October day at Snoqualmie Falls—the evergreens still holding onto their deep green, autumn beginning to soften the landscape, and that rush of white water disappearing into a cool, misty haze below.
That’s the inspiration behind October’s Timber & Tide Yarn Club. 🌲💧

This month’s colorway will pull from the earthy beauty surrounding the falls: mossy greens, weathered stone, soft misty neutrals, and perhaps a hint of those shadowy, rain-soaked tones tucked into the cliffs.

Maybe it’s not the fanciest thing or the most complicated thing.
Maybe it was your first wonky scarf because it proved you could actually knit.
Maybe it was a crochet blanket that took approximately 47 years to finish. 😄
Maybe it was a sweater that finally fit just right, a tiny hat for a new baby, or something you made for a person you love.

The fire is still warm, but outside the windows, evening has settled in. That deep, quiet moment when the last bit of daylight disappears and everything seems to slow down—that’s Nightfall. 🌙

With its rich, deeper coloring, Nightfall brings a little moodiness to the Fireside Collection in the very best way.

It’s the color I’d reach for when I wanted something cozy but dramatic enough to make a simple project feel special.

A little permission slip for your project bag today:
You don’t have to finish everything you start. ❤️

You can frog it.
You can change the pattern.
You can turn the sweater into a hat.
You can put it away for six months.

You can even decide that you learned what you needed to learn from those three inches of questionable knitting or crochet and move right along. 😉

Finishing something feels wonderful—but finishing isn’t the only way a project can be worthwhile.

Sometimes we learn. Sometimes we experiment. Sometimes we discover what we don’t enjoy making.

And sometimes making is simply allowed to be fun.

So if there’s a project sitting in your basket making you feel guilty, consider this your reminder: your creativity doesn’t owe you a finished object.

Anyone have a WIP they’re officially giving themselves permission to release? 🧶
