Veteran Pathways of New England with this fine group of Heroes today! We had a full class today, but only three will be shown...... Also, we mixed things up a little today and more or less made distressed flags, letting everyone get a little more creative with their art. Thank you Linda for all your help again today! You have a wonderful way to keep a smile on everyone's faces!
And I have to say, as much as everyone is special that attends our workshops, today I had the honor to host Sergeant Major David Carden. Retired Special forces, Bronze star with Valor, Vietnam veteran, and also an author. He gave me a copy of his book and I can't wait to read it! And also, we all wish you best of luck on your surgery Tuesday! We know you SF guys are tough, and you'll kick cancers ass!!! Thank you all for your service and dedication, always an honor...🙏🇺🇸🙏

All Army veterans in the shop today! Which meant for an easy class!
Although, the police officer, I would have guessed was a Marine 😝
Seriously tho, you all did a fantastic job today and your flags came out amazing! Today was a lot of fun and definitely a memorable day!Huge thank you to Veteran Pathways of New England for sponsoring today's class and sending this group of Heroes in! 🙏🙏🙏 Always a pleasure and honor...🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The new Police Chief for Littleton, MA Police Department got some sweet wall decor for his new office! Can't thank this department enough for all their support over the past 7+ years! This is the stuff we love...

Had an absolute blast with these ladies from the Blue Star Mothers, MA Chapter 1 !
Once again, folks making something from scratch that they can be proud of! They all did amazing, and truly a wonderful organization helping veterans and their families. And a huge thank you to Joe, at Operation Service for sending us this amazing group of mom's! A very memorable day..... We even got a vist from Norm and Di, finally 😝 And yes, Marine mom's must follow the same rule and sign in crayons 🖍 🤣

Lets talk about the mobile workshops again...
I think A LOT of you misunderstood what we're trying to do here. So let me break this down a little more detailed. We're looking for veteran organizations, private businesses, non-profit organizations, etc that want to "HIRE/ SPONSOR" a mobile workshop for them... we're not looking for a "space" to set up our free build a flag workshop, we're looking for sponsors to go to....Say you run a non-profit, we'll take "veteran pathways" for instance, they would hire me to go to their facility to set up a mobile workshop and host the class. Make sense now? Lol I hope so.... So like I originally said in our last post, I'd absolutely LOVE to make this happen and travel all over New England hosting these mobile workshops, but its a huge expense for us, so i need some serious interest before i bite the bullet here! I'd need to buy a good sized enclosed trailer, sh*t-ton of cordless drills and tools, nail guns, table saws,miter saws tables, chairs, mobile spray-booth. Literally everything i have in my shop needs to be mobile. And I need to double the amount I have in order to accommodate larger groups of 8-12 per class. So hopefully this paints a better picture of my vision. So are you ready yet?!?!?! 🤪

What a crazy day! Where do we even start?!
Well for starters...Chris, we hope you're on the mend and glad we got you to the hospital today, always better safe than sorry sir. And the entire class stepped up, including myself and Linda to finish your flag for you....
Chris wasn't feeling well today and had to take a ride in the ambulance, so feel free to offer your well wishes.... speedy recovery my friend!!!
We had SIX heroes in the shop today making flags! 😱
CVMA Chapter 5-4 was here along with Veteran Pathways of New England
Without a doubt a workshop I'll never forget! Every single one of you were amazing today! You stepped up for your brothers and followed through 💯
We had Marines in the house today 🖍 🖍 🖍 a Vietnam veteran , just a group of awesome people coming together and having a great time, myself included!
Thank you for a great experience today, your service and sacrifice. You guys were amazing! 🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲

So......Here's what I'm thinking........
Lets take our "Build a Flag Workshop " on the road!!! That's right, you read that correctly! For the past 8 years we've hosted this class in our shop in Templeton Ma, and has been nothing short of perfection. (700+ veterans!!!!!) However, we completely understand and see the difficulties making the trek out here. I've been dwelling on this for quite some time now, and I finally worked out a couple kinks that I was unsure of.
This would alleviate a tremendous responsibility for some of our non-profit organizations we work with, and hopefully gain a lot more! We can also offer more veterans per workshop than the typical "four" per class. Thinking six for now, possibly more.
So..... before I commit to this like a raging lunatic 🤪 I'd love to hear your feedback, and potentially who would be interested in this!
Obviously they'll be a bit of added costs to the hosts, but I think this could be an amazing thing to offer to our Veterans and first responders!
SO, WATCHA THINK?? 🤔🤔😬🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
and please, feel free to share the hell outta this post! Let's do this!!!!!
And btw, we'll still be hosting our "in shop" weekly classes as well!
