After a lot of thought and reflection, I’ve decided to step back from performing regularly.
Music has given me so much over the past few years…friendships, memories, opportunities, and the chance to meet so many amazing people. I’m incredibly grateful for every venue, event, and person who has supported me along the way.
This isn’t goodbye. I’ll still be playing select shows and special events when the opportunity feels right, and I don’t plan on disappearing entirely. I truly believe that by performing less often, I’ll be able to give more of myself when I do step on stage. My hope is that every show feels more meaningful, more energetic, and more special for those who come out to spend their time with me.
At this point in my life, I’ve realized that my free time is one of my most valuable resources. I want to spend more of it making memories with Jenn and our boys, being present for the little moments, and focusing on family.
Thank you to everyone who has come out to a show, requested a song, shared a kind word, or supported me over the years. Your support has meant more than you’ll ever know.
I’m looking forward to this next chapter and I hope to see you all again from time to time.
