I debated posting this, but apparently it needs to be said.

I post **constant warnings** about fake accounts, scammers, stolen photos, and impersonators. I regularly educate people on how to identify these accounts and protect themselves.

If you choose to ignore those warnings, or unfortunately become the victim of a scam, that does **not** give you the right to come onto my page, attack me, call me names, or accuse me of something I had absolutely nothing to do with.

Being embarrassed or angry about being deceived does not make me responsible for what a criminal did to you.

And let me be very clear: **I will not tolerate harassment, false accusations, or defamatory statements simply because someone needs a place to direct their anger.**

If you come onto my page respectfully, I will gladly point you toward resources and try to help.

If you come at me with insults and accusations, expect a very different response.

Your anger is understandable.

I can be a mom and an entrepreneur.

I can sit in a boardroom talking business strategy and spend the next weekend in the mountains hunting

I can wear heels one day and hunting boots the next.
Talk technology, HR, business and startups… then yell at the TV during a football game. 😂🏈

For a long time, society taught women that we needed to pick a lane.

I disagree.

Being multidimensional isn’t being confused about who you are.

It’s knowing exactly who you are and realizing you were never meant to fit into one box.

Episode 2, Part 2 🔎🚨

How to spot scam and fake accounts before you become their next target.

Scammers are constantly looking for ways to get your attention. Here are three common ways they’ll try to make contact:

1️⃣ They like your comment
You comment on a creator or celebrity’s post, and suddenly an account that looks like that person likes your comment. 🚩

2️⃣ They reply to your comment
“ Send me a private message.” 🚩🚩🚩
That should immediately set off your scam alarm.

3️⃣ They DM you
Just because the profile has the right pictures, name, bio, or even followers does NOT mean it’s really that person. Stolen photos and impersonation accounts are incredibly easy to create.

And one of my biggest warnings:

🚨 Be extremely cautious if someone you met on social media immediately wants to move the conversation to Zangi, Signal, WhatsApp, or Telegram.

These are legitimate messaging apps used by plenty of real people, but scammers also use private messaging platforms to move victims away from the social media account where they initially made contact.

If someone claiming to be your new internet soulmate suddenly needs you to move to another app… STOP. VERIFY.

And please, for the love of the internet, never send money, gift cards, crypto, banking information, or personal information to someone you only know online.

Fake accounts can look convincing. Verify before you trust. 🔎
