It's audition time!

Join auditions for Rochester Adult Ballet Company! RABC is an amateur dance company aimed at providing performance opportunities, company class, and choreographic opportunities for adult dancers (23+) in the Rochester area.

Before your Mother's Day brunch, come to auditions!
--Sunday May 10th 9-11am at the Tournesol Dance studio (349 Commercial St)
--The audition will consist of an abbreviated ballet barre and center, a contemporary combination, and a jazz combination
--If you wish to be considered for pointe roles, please audition en pointe for barre
--Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to get registered and to warm up.

A small group of our company dancers had the privilege of traveling to Italy and performing in adult dance festival. This was such a fantastic festival and opportunity where many talented adults came together to share what they are passionate about.

RABC received the warmest welcome from our Italy dance friends. We would like to thank everyone who made it possible for us to share our passion and commitment to dance at this festival! ❤️🩰

Wondering about the time commitment at the RABC? ⏰
Members are...
👉 invited to monthly company ballet classes,
👉 required to attend rehearsals for performances they are in,
👉 and required to be actively taking dance classes at any institution. . .
Since all our members live a full life all week long, these classes and rehearsals are typically held on the weekends ranging from Friday night through Sunday! We work with our members to make sure we fit dancing into our crazy lives! 🗓️ . .

The Rochester Adult Ballet Company has been invited to dance in ITALY at a ballet festival in May!! We are still reeling from the amazing invitation (*seriously - someone please pinch us*) and are now trying to gather funds to take the team across ‘the pond’ (aka the freakin’ ocean) to dance on this international stage!

We are invited to perform two dances in Turin, Italy, on May 3rd at the OPEN Adult Dance International Festival - we just need to GET THERE. This is such a big deal and amazing honor!! So we are hoping for some help towards our flights and hotel rooms for our group of seven (7) performers able to go.
