Yoga in the Park begins this Thursday! 🧘

Join instructor Tiffany Normandin at Sabin Point to unwind and recharge! Register online at eastprovidence.recdesk.com.

Bring a yoga mat, water, and a towel (blocks encouraged).
Thursdays, June 18 – July 23, 2026 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.

This "meditation in motion" links movement with breath, creating a steady, rhythmic practice that builds strength, flexibility, and balance. All levels welcome—just bring a mat, water, and a towel (blocks are encouraged).

Yoga in the Park is held at Sabin Point Park (130 Shore Rd, Riverside, RI 02915) on Thursdays, June 18th - July 23rd, 2026 at 6pm. On inclement weather days, calls will be made by 4 PM. Class fee is $30 (only $5 per class!)

Enjoy live entertainment, food concessions, and a spectacular fireworks display. Gates open at 6 PM and admission is FREE. No coolers, backpacks, or pets permitted.

Free summer meals in East Providence for youth 18 & under!☀️

Summer meals will be served June 29-August 28, 2026 at Onna Moniz-John park, Pierce Field and Providence Ave from 11 AM - 1 PM. Meal service is closed on July 6 and August 10th.

In the event of inclement weather, meal service will be canceled.

🎭 Ready to take the stage this summer?

Join the Islander Players' Summer Theater Camp for a fun-filled week of creativity, confidence-building, and performance. Young actors ages 9-14 will explore the world of theater through acting games, stage performance, directing, and script writing while making new friends and building confidence on stage.

Campers will finish the week with a special performance for family and friends!

Who says summer camp is just for big kids? Kindermotion is hosting 4 unique "camp" experiences for children ages 3.5 -7. Drop of your little ones on select dates at the East Providence Recreation Department for a morning full of movement, stories, and art! This is a great first independent experience for young children anxious to have that big kid camp day!

Yesterday, our after schoolers spent time planting beautiful flowers around the Senior Center!

A big thank you to the Senior Center’s Elder Resource Specialist, Amanda for giving our kids the opportunity to join in on a special project to help brighten the space for our seniors! 🌸
