Not every milestone happens on a stage.

Sometimes it’s packing boxes, cleaning out an apartment, loading a truck, and driving toward the next dream.

I flew from New Jersey to Florida to help my son close one chapter after graduating from Bethune-Cookman University. In just a few hours, it’ll be his birthday, and before the sun comes up, we’ll be on the road to Atlanta as he begins the next chapter at Georgia State University.

Son, I’m beyond proud of the man you’ve become. Happy Birthday and congratulations. Keep chasing your dreams, stay humble, and never stop believing in yourself. Love you always. ❤️🎓🙏🏾

A great tattoo is about trust. An even better one is when artists trust each other.

I designed this entire piece from the ground up—laid it out, outlined it, and shaded it. When my client came back for session two, my brother Boushee Bowie jumped in to help bring the flowers to life with color. He handled two of the four flowers, and I finished the rest of the color work.

The result? A collaboration we’re both proud of, and most importantly, a client who walked away with an amazing tattoo.

Much respect to Boushee Bowie. This is what happens when artists put ego aside and focus on creating something special. 🙌

Some tattoos are bigger than ink.

My brother called me and asked if I’d come to his house to finish something that means everything to him. I already put his father on one side of his chest… today we gave his mother her place on the other side.

The best part? My twins got to be part of the moment. From pulling up to the house, to helping with the stencil, to watching memories become permanent—they got to see what this career is really about.

It’s not just about tattoos.
It’s about trust.
It’s about family.
It’s about preserving the people we never want to forget.

Thank you for letting me be part of something this personal. That’s something I’ll never take for granted.
