Go by and check it out on your way to Wilburn St. Tavern across the street. And help Save the Roxy spread the word that there is still space available for lease!

This newspaper clip published in The Tennessean on September 13, 1914 was found at the State Archives. This is a picture of the original building on the site where the Roxy Theater now stands! Also notice the trolley car electric lines overhead. Crescent Amusements purchased the "moving pictures" building in 1936, added a balcony during a renovation in 1937, and opened the Roxy Theater in the summer of 1937.
