Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and the 3-Year commemoration of the Quad Cities premiere of AARON POWER!, the Irish-American musical, co-authored by Michael Callahan & Dan Haughey, under direction by Karl Bodenbender of Moline. Produced by APMR, Ltd., 501c3, at the Rock Island Center for Creative Arts-East (Dino & Tina Hayz), it was a magical new production made possible by Illinois Arts (council) staged reading-recitals at https://www.facebook.com/theblackboxtheatreqc (Moline), and many QCA theatre friends, arts friends, family, and collective sponsors & donors.

As of 2025, the musical is marketed throughout the Midwest and West (USA) with a prospect for its next stage production. Thanks to ALL the show’s original talented performers & production team, and the Irish-Native cultures of the QCA. Future producers in the QCA are welcome.... Enjoy St. Patrick’s Day, all! Had a great time presenting excerpts yesterday—for families and others at Fusion Fest in Moline—from my “RangerManDan!” show with song and narrative about how we all can help Nature and the Environment. Plants, animals, and insect pollinators were highlights of the interactive presentation. Also caught up with the “Aubs” —Aubrey Barnes / Aubrey Barnes of the QCA , premiere Spoken-Word Artist/ Poet/Author ( RE: his work at [email protected] ) and watched some of his gifted performing arts students! A beautiful day!☀️

And today I celebrate harvesting the first Roma tomato from my Silvis veggie garden. Yay! (Actually this “first-born” is only the size of a small skinny egg.) More to come… 😊🎶🎭☘️ — danact3.com

Nice. A big THANKS to Charles & Tom Lahl for hosting live music at DEAD POET'S Moline--and the wonderful audience of music-lovers-- today at my "Gaelic Songs" morning matinee', a performance of Irish traditional music! The audience turn-out, young and young-at-heart ❤ and participation was awesome--with fun -- and the Irish cultural chats with patrons in post-show was very refreshing.... even in the "after-glow" of St. Paddy's week!
