I like to think that my love of graphic design traces back to my parents. My mother loves the fine arts, like painting, drawing, acting, and interior design. My father is an analytical, mathmatic, and detail-oriented engineer. With those qualities from each parent it creates what I like to think is a hybrid: the graphic designer! My passion, within the graphic design world, is for logo design; mar
keting collateral (such as business cards, brochures, etc); page layout & design; and social media imagery. Before I realized that I wanted to be a graphic designer (which was during my 1st semester in college) I had already been doing graphic design sort of things back in high school. I was eager to design logos and t-shirts for the clubs and sports I was in. I was the co-editer-in-chief of the yearbook, and the layout & design editor of the school newspaper. You would think it should be evident that becoming a graphic designer would be my calling. But, believe it or not, I went into college planning to study psychology, with the thought of become a professor or experimental psychologist! But, here I am today, a graphic designer and getting paid to do what I love! All glory be to God, of whom I give all credit.
