This is not a "we're closing" post, but it's still a hard post to make.
Action Valley started with two brothers and some friends looking for a place to play paintball. We found a place in Moline, and with the help of so many people and countless hours, we made that dream a reality and brought paintball back to the QC after the much-loved MVP closed its doors.
After battling floods with the Rock River, beavers, and multiple setbacks, we found a new home at Snowstar, where we were able to grow even more and showcase our version of Zombie Paintball. IYKYK. Unfortunately, with the task of tearing down and rebuilding every year, we knew this wasn't our forever home.
For the past three years, we have been at a location that allowed us to build fields and leave them up all year long, build a better version of our Zombie Paintball, and have the creativity to do whatever we wanted.
That is the short story of a 10-year journey we took growing this business. The part you don't see is the strain it can put on a family. It is now time for us to really think about our future yet again, and this time, we have to put family first.
Without making this post too long and to get to the point, we are looking for someone to take over and continue the dream of keeping paintball in the QC. Our lease is up in March, and the future is a little uncertain at this time.
