Alternating Currents, what can I say? What you have done for this community is outstanding and I am so very grateful that we were included in this amazing event. Nicole Christina Gonzalez sent me this video of a song her man, Joseph Daniel McKinney wrote some years back that we, as a band, got to revive and play live at Great River Brewery last Sunday.
I wish y'all could've been at practice when we first did this song and saw the look on Shmoe's face.
IT WAS PRICELESS!
To pour yourself into something that was just an idea, a hope, a dream and then watch it come to life, it's what we creatives live for. It is hard to contain and it's even harder to be vulnerable enough to share it with others.
So on behalf of this fairly new band, expanding and creating original music, I say thank you to everyone who comes and supports live music. It means more than I think we could ever articulate with words or speech.
