As a Father I have to give credit where credit is due.
This past weekend I had the privilege to DJ Northview High Schools Homecoming Dance. The cheerleaders sold almost 400 tickets to the dance and that's saying something for a school that has a little over 500 kids between 9th and 12th grade.
These kids danced all night long! They had such a great taste in music from David Bowie to Katseye to Michael Jackson and everything in between.
What impressed me the most was the amount of respect and discipline from each and every student that attended. No one was rude towards me, no one was impatient and they all had manners.
I especially wanted to give a big shout out to the cheer team for coming early to help setup and staying after to clean the entire cafeteria as well as the bathrooms.
Teachers and Parents you should be proud of your Chiefs because I know I was!!!
