We're so excited to announce that the Fisher Cats will be kicking off our new free and low-cost series for the summer, Field Notes.

The Fisher Cats are a rhythm-and-blues band playing classic rock. They are led by 5-time Grammy Award winner Joe Ferla. Ferla has worked with Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack, Johnny Hathaway, Marianne Faithfull, John Mayer, and Regina Carter, among others.

This will be the first of a series of performances, workshops, and other opportunities to bring the community together this summer as we enjoy the warmer months and connect with each other.

We still have a few spots for our Theater Games Workshop - July 6-10th

Theater Games will introduce kids (6-9) to the most essential aspect of acting and performance: Play! In this one week workshop, we will explore acting fundamentals such as improv games and movement exercises. Using these games as a foundation we will create a devised performance for parents and friends!
This is an opportunity for young artists to share their creativity with their peers, and see their imagination come to life by collaborating and communicating those ideas. We will focus on supporting one another, practicing being good audience members as well as performers as we watch each other grow.

Desert Blues musician Nour Harkati will be performing at the WKC on Friday, May 29! 🎹🥁Harkati’s music is a beautiful, powerful blend of his North African roots with urban influence.

If all that glitters is gold, then Julian Fleisher is with a mint. They call you a triple threat when you can sing, dance, and act — but Julian is also somehow hilariously charming to boot.

We'll be hosting Julian, in concert, on May 16. But, as with most things, the tickets are limited — so if you've been putting off buying, DON'T.

Will he be performing draper in fur? Sequins? Or maybe he'll be wearing silk pajamas — it's always a surprise. What we do know, is that you'll need a ticket to find out, and we anticipate they'll sell out.

This show is coming up quick, and after a week of listening to Body Sound on near repeat — we can't wait.

The night is sure to be a deeply intimate experience as the sounds of strings and voices fill the walls of the West Kortright Center — occasionally twisted and manipulated by analog tape delays.

We've yet to experience it live, but will be looking forward to sharing it with you all come through 23rd.

Spring has officially arrived, and so has the new album from Whiteny Johnson, Lia Kohl & Macie Stewart. If you were lucky enough to have this be the first thing to enter your ears this morning — we were right there with you. Sun rising, coffee brewing, and the sweet sounds of this beautiful new album playing softly in our space.

The trio will be gracing the West Kortright Center with a performance in just a few short weeks on April 23, and tickets are still available in our bio — we highly encourage everyone to join us for this one, it's going to be an incredibly special evening.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

We're excited to let everyone know that we've added orahill to the lineup.

With an already incredible roster of musicians, Rahill will be bringing some audible dreamscapes to the West Kortright Center stage this August. Her perfect mixture of chilled beats while still retaining some of her foundational explorative sounds that she helped to craft as a foundational member of , she's sure to provide the perfect set to get up and move your feet in the grass, or lay back and watch the clouds float by.
