The music room is a busy place this time of year! We start letting some student directors conduct warmups, and when Mrs. Schork is absent, they conduct the songs during class. The Rookie Starter Sounds 5th grade band celebrated the end of the 1st nine weeks with a game of “Boom, snap, snatch”!!

The weather turned cooler, so why not get those crock pots out and mix up your best chili recipe for the 3RD ANNUAL EAST LYNNE MUSIC DEPARTMENT CHILI COOK OFF?
You can win a gas card and everlasting fame!
Don't forget - you can enjoy a Veterans Day Concert too -at 7 pm immediately following the cook off!!

I literally have the best students (and the best job) in the world!! Got to cheer on some wicked good volleyball players- McKinley and Sophia and the headed over to catch Cameron play football!!
Kids can !!! Musicians AND athletes: a winning combination!!!

How many times do I invite kiddos to join choir and they say “I’m not a very good singer”….you don’t have to be. Join in, I’m a pretty good teacher, and you never know what you might really end up enjoying ❤️❤️🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
