Niives Belonging nowhere and everywhere // Eclectic producer, artist and all-around maker.

Rabin Miguel, also known by the alias Niives The Maker, operates in between what seems worlds apart and brings it together. Having grown up with a bicultural background, the Dutch-Moluccan multi-instrumental producer and composer stands with one foot in the punk/metal-, and the other in the hip hop culture of the underground in and around Rotterdam. His methods revolve around taking what he learned in one world and applying it to another. The resulting signature style consists of a melancholic, yet high-energy blend that draws influence from heavy metal, hip hop and various subgenres of EDM. His lyrical themes often revolve around his personal journey of self reflection, his bicultural identity and finding peace in a world that sometimes allows for little breathing space. Miguel is a founding member of heavy metal band NEVIAH, as well as the multi-disciplinary media company AVANSION COLLECTIVE. With fellow artist and partner-in-crime HAYLE, he can often be seen performing in the duo act Niives & Hayle.
