A tiny creature visited Raven Hill recently! The baby garter snake was temporarily caught for a closer look before being safely released back into its natural habitat. This is a small but wonderful reminder proving that discoveries can be waiting anywhere at Raven Hill!

A primitive Greek pottery kiln is taking shape at the factory site in Raven Hill’s Ancient World! Built from a mixture of clay, sand, cement and sawdust, the kiln will offer a glimpse into how ancient potters used natural materials, fire and ingenuity to transform clay into lasting works of art.

Look closely at the background, and you can see the ruins of previous pottery kilns. They are reminders that learning at Raven Hill is an ongoing process of building, experimenting and discovering.
