MEET THE ACTRESS BEHIND DAISY WERTHAN
Before Debi Freund takes the stage this September as Daisy Werthan in Driving Miss Daisy, we wanted you to have the chance to get to know the actress behind the character.
Debi recently sat down with Deborah Gilbert on Arts & Entertainment for her very first television interview, and we’re excited to share it with you.
Debi is certainly no stranger to the Cabaret on Main stage. Driving Miss Daisy will mark her third production with us. Audiences may remember her powerful performance last year in the leading role of Annie Wilkes in Misery. Now, this veteran actress returns to take on an entirely different and equally iconic character, Daisy Werthan.

AUDITION REMINDER
From all of us at Cabaret on Main Theater and Broadway On Main Theatre Company, we wanted to send one last reminder that auditions for The Santa Switch are right around the corner!
We truly believe this is going to be one of the most enjoyable shows we've ever produced.
The Santa Switch isn't your typical holiday musical. It's funny, heartwarming, full of memorable characters, and packed with songs audiences already know and love, including Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, A Holly Jolly Christmas, What a Wonderful World, Fight Song, Breakaway, Best Day of My Life, and many more.
What makes this production even more exciting is that we'll be the first community theatre in Connecticut to bring The Santa Switch to the stage. We're excited to introduce audiences to a brand-new holiday musical that we hope will become a new Christmas tradition for years to come.
Whether you've been performing for years or you're looking for your very first community theatre experience, we'd love to see you. There are wonderful principal roles, featured ensemble opportunities, and a place for performers of all experience levels.

Please prepare one holiday song that best showcases your voice and bring your own backing track. You may also be asked to read from the script and participate in a brief movement combination.
