A few spots are still open for the Two-Day Experimental Technique Workshop with José Bayro C. on Monday and Tuesday Aug. 24 and 25 🦊🌿🎨

Take advantage of this rare opportunity to study under a world-renowned painter based in Puebla, Mexico. José's workshop offers no less than a transformative artistic journey, beginning with still-life drawing and progressing into painting and monotype, where participants will explore a range of mediums like oils, acrylics, and monotype printing.

Through hands-on experiences with unconventional materials such as fabric swatches, stencils, rubber stamps, sand, gold, and silver leaf, attendees will learn to manipulate textures and create depth to enhance their artistic repertoire.

Ready for an enthrallingly strange immersive experience? (Who isn't, right?) Opening tomorrow, August 7 is Donde Sueña el Bosque (Where the Forest Dreams), a magical installation of fiber art and paintings by Robert Smith and José Bayro C. Opening reception is from 6 - 8pm, with a talk from the artists at 7pm.

Based in Puebla, Mexico, Robert and José invite viewers into a world where fantasy, nature, and storytelling meet. This exhibit is a must-see 🗝️🌳🦌 👀

The art of duo Robert Smith and José Bayro C. will be featured in magical combination - fiber art sculpture by Robert and paintings by José.

Both based in Puebla, México, the work of Robert and José is exhibited widely to international audiences, and we are very excited to welcome them here for this show!
