🌟 Dancer of the Week: Jaina Mousseau 🌟

Meet Jaina Mousseau, our incredible Dancer of the Week! A senior this year, Jaina has been an integral part of The Dance Complex since we opened our doors in 2021. Not only is she a member of our advanced competition team and an intermediate-level solo dancer, but Jaina also shines as a student teacher, sharing her passion and expertise with our young dancers. 💃✨

Jaina’s work ethic, attention to detail, and natural talent truly set her apart. She’s always willing to help with anything related to dance and the studio, making her an invaluable part of our community. ❤️

While we will miss Jaina dearly, we are so excited to see the amazing things she’ll accomplish next as she heads to Central Michigan University this fall in 2025! 🎓💙

🌟 Meet Grace, our Dancer of the Week! 🌟

Grace is a senior at The Dance Complex this year, and while we’re going to miss her tremendously next season, we are so excited to see her begin the next chapter of her educational journey. 💫

Grace has been an incredible dancer and has shown tremendous growth during her time with us. She has an amazing sense of musicality and possesses that special “can’t teach” quality — a natural movement style that truly shines, especially in her modern contemporary technique. ✨

This season, Grace will be playing the role of the Cheshire Cat in our production of Alice in Wonderland. 🐾 She will also be competing her solo and group numbers at regionals, as well as at her first nationals competition in Pigeon Forge, TN! 🎭🎉

We are cherishing every moment we have with Grace in her final season here, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things she’ll achieve. 💙

🌟 Dancer of the Week: Daveney Cordell 🌟

We’re excited to introduce our Dancer of the Week, the incredible Daveney Cordell! 💃✨ Daveney has been a member of The Dance Complex family since day one, starting with our Mini Competition Team and growing into a star on our Main Competition Team. This season, she’ll be competing in 3 routines, showcasing her talent and dedication.

Daveney’s growth as a dancer is truly inspiring. Her musicality is on point, and her free-spirited personality lights up the studio! When she sets her mind to something, there’s no limit to what she can achieve. We are so proud to have her continue her dance journey with us and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she will accomplish in the future. 💫

🌟 Dancer of the Week: Miss Sophia Ferguson! 🌟

This week, we’re excited to spotlight the incredible growth and talent of Sophia Ferguson! Sophia’s dance journey began the very same year The Dance Complex opened its doors, and WOW, what a journey it’s been! From starting with no dance experience to joining our competition team in her very first season, she has blossomed into an incredible performer.

Sophia’s hard work and dedication have led her to not only mastering solos but also taking on lead roles in group numbers. She was our first-ever Dancer of the Year, and she continues to embody everything that earned her that honor. Her maturity and leadership skills often make us forget just how young she is, as she carries herself well beyond her years.

Sophia Ferguson is undoubtedly one of the greatest members The Dance Complex has ever had, and we are beyond excited to see all the amazing things the future holds for her. Keep shining, Sophia! ✨

🌟 Dancer of the Week: Evelyn Perander 🌟

Meet our incredible Dancer of the Week, Evelyn Perander! 🩰✨ Evelyn is a hardworking and dedicated dancer who is always ready to give her best. Her memory for choreography is truly amazing, and she’s always up for any challenge — bending, twisting, and flipping in ways that leave us in awe. 🤸‍♀️

But it’s not just her talent that stands out. Evelyn is also one of the kindest, most caring dancers in class, always encouraging and supporting her peers. Her leadership, especially in acro, makes her a true role model for others. 💖

🌟 Meet Abby Grytzelius! 🌟

Last season, Abby faced an injury that sidelined her from dancing, but she didn’t let that stop her! 💪 Even though she couldn’t dance, she still showed up to every rehearsal, learning, assisting with choreography cleaning, and doing so much more behind the scenes. Now, this season, Abby is back on the dance floor and better than ever! 💃✨ She’s not only overcome her injury—she’s surpassed all expectations!

Abby brings so much fun, heart, humor, and an unforgettable personality to everything she does. We absolutely love her and are so grateful for all the positivity she brings to the studio. 💖 Keep shining, Abby! 🙌
