Yes! You can weave with raw fleece. This is a great way to make something beautiful with your raw fleece (without needing to wait for it to be processed). This was Pt2 of our "Can You Weave It?" challenge.

Can you weave it? 🐑

Today we are weaving with raw fleece.It was a bit of trial and error but we figured it out easily enough! We started by twisting the wool to mimic our rug yarn but then fran stepped in and decided to weave it normally for a chunkier/thicker look. We love the way it turned out.

Raw wool is very oily (so it's water proof!) once you wash it, it will felt nicely and make a great rug.
