Quick reminder on Offroad Club Race info..

Format is 2/5 minute qualifiers with 10/20 minute mains for electric/nitro

Fast paced with as short of breaks as possible. most likely 20 minutes. Potentially longer before mains depending on turnout.

Classes:
Novice
Pro and Sportsman E-Buggy
Pro and Sportsman Nitro Buggy
E-Truggy
40+ E-Buggy
(If we have 5 or more for kids we'll run kids otherwise youth racers will be in Novice for club races..)

Entry fees are $25/$15/$10 for your 1st,2nd or 3rd entry.

No concessions today so pack a lunch or there are multiple restaurants within a 10 min drive.

Today's race we are shooting to open the track for practice at 12pm.. qualifiers will start at 3:30pm today and if we have to finish under the lights we will..

All right folks if you saw the post I put up about 1:30 last night I did delete that post. The track appears to have not been rained on at all last night and with a very low chance of a shower early afternoon I think we should be good to go today for this club race.

Apologies for the late post. Final packing now.track is a little rough but smoother now.
Forcast tomorrow is all over the place but were going forward with putting together a mid afternoon club race. We may get a shower overnight but it looks like most of the moisture missed us.

Ill be here to setup and open the indoor pits at 10am ..track should be open for practice by 2pm.
Looking to start qualifiers at 4pm if everything lines up how we expect..

If nothing else well have a practice day and have some fun..

Couple of photos from this afternoon. We've had good sun on the track most of the day and it's drying out pretty well.

The plan is to finish packing it tonight and let it sit without watering it. forecast to potentially get a shower somewhere between 3:00 and 6:00 a.m. early Saturday morning.
I feel by early afternoon saturday the track should be open for practice 2-3pm. Qualifiers will start 4-5pm depending on weather..
Update video tonight around 9:00 p.m. but we are planning for this club race tomorrow evening..

Unfortunately we are going to reschedule the Carolina Cup 4.0 to July 25th.

However we are shooting for a club race Saturday afternoon/evening with a roughly 3pm start time for practice.5pm for qualifiers, finishing up under the lights..

Seeing 30-60% chance Saturday morning but that afternoon/evening look decent.. that could go up or down so this all could change so stay tuned for updates!!

I'm Preparing the track now and will have a video with all the details around 930 tonight. Thanks for your patience!

Carolina Cup 4.0 mid week update

The track will be closed for the next few days to let it dry up and drain off as much as possible. This video was from this afternoon we feel the track has handled the rain very well and the drains have done their job. What we need now is for this weather system to move out and a few days of dry warm temperatures.

We are watching the forecasting closely and we will shoot to make a final call on Thursday evening for anyone that was going to be traveling early on Friday.

Our thinking is if we have a window open late week and if Saturday looks clear. We should be able to get on the track to prep it either Thursday and/or Friday and most likely have to scratch the Friday practice.

All will depend on what happens Wednesday and Thursday along with what our percentages are for a decent day on Saturday. Stay tuned for updates they will be coming out over the next couple days. Everybody keep their fingers and toes crossed!

If we do have to reschedule the Carolina Cup race we will move it to our July 24th club race week.
