Good morming everyone, first posted in a while. Things have been crazy with my work schedule so I have had to take a little break from the shop. That all comes to an end this weekend. Stay tuned for more knives and other new creations.

Shop is finally coming along, forges and anvil, set up, tomorrow i am going to work in a more stable path out to the shop. Patriotic Iron Works well be up and running again soon.

Finished the rehandle of this dagger. A couple more coats of oil then a sealant and it will be ready to go back to the owner.

Rehandle of the dagger is going well. Also added a skull cracker pommel. Eastern red cedar, for the handle. The black walnut messed up so had to swith directions.

Re-handling a dagger, was going to use h**p wood for the handle, but it was not holding together the best, so black walnut it is.

Meant to post the outside of the display box with the post yesterday. Also moving my shop from my lean to, the carport right beside. Want to make things look a little more professional, next to be moves is the Anvil, stand, and forges. Then I will be back in business.

I know that i had first posted about this. I said that I was going to donate all the proceeds form the knives I have for sale to John Norwood, I have decided to up that. All sales made in the next month will go to helping John rebuild his shop, and help with the cost of his finances services.

Please help if you can! John Norwood of Old Hickory Forge is in the hospital after losing his home snd workshop in a mudslide during Helene. His fiancé is still missing. I visited his shop and photographed him a couple years back for my Handmade project, really great guy and I can’t imagine what he’s going through right now.

During the storm that ravaged Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. A blacksmith, bladesmith friend of mine sustained catastrophic damage to his house and shop, they are both gone. He lost everything, these knives are up for sale, and all proceeds will go t o the Go Fund Me to help with medical bills and any other expenses that are accrued. 1st pic is Pugio Dagger, not complete yet but 90 % there. 2nd is a hunting knife made from 1095 high carbon steel with a cherry burl handle, 3rd is a small skinner with exotic hard wood handle, 4th pic is of utility knives that I make, all are for sale.
