Tray Play is beginning to develop guided online sensory tray experiences for people living with dementia and their care providers.

If you would like to help build out Tray Play's first DIY sensory experience called Enchanted Night, (inspired by Vicki Rawlin's Flower Art prints) then please email me at [email protected] so I can send you a private link on Monday!

Author, performer, and poet Gary Glazner, founder of the Alzheimer’s Poetry Project, will be giving us a taste of how he makes poetry come ALIVE for his audiences. He’s kind and generous and fun. You’ll be glad you joined the call.

Everything Sensory! All in One Place!

You may have already heard if you are a Sensory Stimulation for Seniors Facebook group member, that I am collecting recommended sources to help support sensory stimulation programming for those caring for people with dementia or other cognitive challenges.

But if you haven't heard you will want to check out the new "Come to Your Senses" online Library!

It's free!

And if you have heard about it already, maybe you could share this post to someone who might like to know about it!

You will find the link below.

This is just the start so I would like to keep adding to it with YOUR recommendations. Then we will have a great free resource to turn to when thinking about how to bring more sensory stimulation into one's day.

Just so you know in advance...
In order to access the Come to Your Senses Library, you need to use an email address. Then you will need to establish a password.

So there is a little bit of hoopla to enter initially. Sorry. It's just the way it works. But once you do that it should be quite easy.

And just because I have your email does not mean you will receive 1,000 emails from me. There are a few that you will receive automatically from you setting up an account. And then, just a couple from me-- one making sure you have the link handy and one to see if you have any recommendations to add. Then occasionally I will let you know when there is a bunch of new content.

So, if you are looking for sensory stimulating ideas to bring to your activity calendar, start browsing today!

Hope everyone is safe and healthy. If you are going through especially trying times, my heart goes out to you and I hope you feel supported.

Thanks for all you do, everyone!

~ Nicole

Our heart goes out to all caring for others during this unprecedented time. Hang in there and revel in the unexpected good that comes about (if you can).
