It’s pure chaos in here as usual. We sit and wait for snow and probably too much ice for a chance at school next week.
This jumble is very representative of my mental space these days and I’m grateful I made time to paint today. Helps to chase away some of the negative that seems always ready to consume me.

Today is the day! The First Friday showing at Jefferson School City Center is tonight, and my work Still Life with Monarch with be on display and available for collecting! Very excited to be in the company of such talented artists including our very own Gaffer .

More details and photos are finally up on the journal at jennheller.com - my trip to England to learn from Tiffanie Turner! ❤️ It was an amazing experience, in the end I had fewer words than I thought I would but lots and lots of photos! Particularly of my multiple visits to the rose garden at Kew 😍 so nice to revisit those unusually sun-drenched days with the most lovely people. Miss all of you!

Throwback to this for my fabulous mom. Maybe it’s the winter weather, maybe it’s preparing for the tuber sale on the flower farm half of my brain but I’ve been deep diving in my photo library. Spring is just around the corner and I am so ready for the flowers.
