Just a few short weeks ago, we gathered together for Wise Fest 2026. And now that the dust has settled, the stages have gone quiet, and the last of the campers have headed home, we want to take a moment to remember what it was all really about.
Because the Holler has never been just a place to hear music. It's the place where strangers become friends, friends become family, and people who might never have crossed paths in this big ol' world find themselves standing shoulder to shoulder, singing the same songs under the same sky. It's the hugs, the laughter, the late-night conversations, the familiar faces, and the new ones that somehow feel like they've always belonged. It's the artists pouring their hearts out on stage and the people in front of them reminding them why they do what they do. It's the moments nobody thought to take a picture of, but somehow those are the ones that stay with us the longest.
Yes, supporting live, original music is a huge part of what we do. But the real reason the Holler is the Holler is YOU. Every musician who shares their gift, every volunteer who gives their time, every person who travels miles to be here, every soul who has ever found a little piece of themselves in this place. You are the heartbeat of this community. You are what makes these gatherings mean something. Long after the stages come down and the lights go dark, the memories remain. And when life gets heavy, when the world feels a little too big or a little too lonely, we hope you remember that somewhere out here in the woods, you've got a family.
Thank you for making the Holler more than a venue. Thank you for making it a home. Until we gather again, keep the music in your hearts and save a little room around the fire for more!
