Discrimination is a word not used commonly in car community and the subculture we all enjoy. We bring together all backgrounds and economic status without any issues or gripes. That is the beauty of car culture. To see BPD be influenced by the owners of empire center allegedly and deeming car people not suitable to eat at their renters place of business is wild/crazy. To discriminate against car culture parking in a parking lot, no different from a Black Friday sale but yet have heavy police presence and security enjoying the cars themselves is foolish. A waste of taxpayer money and a hindering of business to businesses that pay rent with sales.

For many years KKT has represented bringing people together thru the passion of vehicles. For many years we have believed that the reason why some law enforcement agencies act the way they do towards us is because PEOPLE UNITED hold the POWER. City officials work for us and should empower positive hobbies and practices. City protectors work to keep the peace and work with communities, not to squander it or make it fearful to go out. Again the time has come for us to decided. What next… how to keep this epic gathering alive for many more generations. Stay tuned and remember to vote for officials that benefit our communities in the way we want to see. Unity with action creates change.

PS: BPD was responsible for letting us eat like any other normal Tuesday night. But for them to enforce on the few they did just for vehicle modifications shows… you must not have anything better to do. People demand bigger fish get fried. The people generally don’t care about cars going to eat at Krispy Kreme. I quote from a burbankian “they seem to be overreacting”
