Without wanting to sound like a broken record (does anyone know what a record is anymore?) . . . Artarama 2022 was a complete success. We want to say “You are Welcome!” To all the folks who messaged, called or otherwise told us that the 50th was incredible.

These two seniors received the $1000 scholarships from Artarama this year. Frankie and Rose. (Left and right). They were SO delightful and hard working throughout the entire day of Artarama. They both love art and are artists themselves. They enjoyed meeting the artists of 2022 and bought items for themselves and family to remember the great day they had in the park for the 50th celebration. They collected donations from artists who took part in the Silent Auctions that raise the funds for these scholarships. THANKS Rose and Frankie. ❤️😊❤️👏👏👏

It’s official—the 50th Celebration of Artarama is completed. We would like to thank in no special order: Volunteers who helped throughout the day; our tent guy who was on time and delivered; the city for installing our banner and getting us barricades and picnic tables; our 2022 Scholarship Winners-Rose and Frankie (pictured here); Soul Child duet who put on a heck of a show; GERTA for assisting us with parking; All of the wonderful artists who had a long but mostly prosperous day; Dublins Paddywagon who came through for us at the last minute; the Fun Factory and Cowboy Doug who served lots of kettle korn and gelato; Custom Landscaping for Silent Auction items as well as all who donated art and food; the attendees who came and bought and participated in the Silent Auctions; our wonderful surveyor who marked the park; WJFW, WRJO and News-Review for coverage; waste vendors and fair board; Committee Member families who put up with the long days of preparation and year long process and Everyone who took the time to thank and congratulate us on our successful show. Also, if you see a Committee Member at Artarama, you might want to congratulate them on all the work and time they put in to make it always the best art show in the northwoods. ❤️👏

Update! Dublin’s Paddywagon will be our food service on Saturday, July 16th from 9-3 at ARTARAMA. This is the park. If you don’t want to pay to park you need to put on your walking shoes. (You’ll probably have them on anyway) And yes, we hold the show rain or shine. 👏🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈👍🏻

It was a good day and a bad day. Our great food vendor who has served us for many years contracted Covid and is in the hospital. Yes. So we are trying to find a new food vendor for Saturday. We wish Chris the best. Good news is we’re still on for a great show on Saturday. 9-3. Tons and tons of artwork for everyone. And we still have kettle korn and gelato and water to refresh you while shopping.

"Today was a Difficult Day," said Pooh.

There was a pause.

"Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet.

"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."

"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.

"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.

"Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either.

"But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh."

And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right."
