🌟Calling All Families & Gentle Horses! 🌟

We’re gearing up for one of the most heartwarming traditions of the year — the Special Friends Barrel Race! 💛

We need families with kind, gentle horses to join us in making this event unforgettable. Each rider will need:
• A leader to guide the horse
• A spotter on each side for safety

This is more than just a race — it’s a family experience that gives someone the chance to ride who may not get to every day like we do.

Bring your horse, bring your heart, and don’t forget your sunglasses… because you will be crying happy tears!

Hands down, this is our favorite event of the year, and we hope you’ll be part of it!

2025 RVR Dan Wolfe Sportsmanship Award
This award honors the legacy of our dear friend, Dan Wolfe. His kind heart and uplifting spirit left a lasting impact on the Round Valley Rodeo community. Dan became a beloved fixture at the RVR Junior Rodeo through the involvement of his wife Shelly and daughter Jessica, who are longtime rodeo contestants. Whether you had the fastest time or the roughest run, Dan greeted every contestant with a smile, and a kind word as they exited the arena.

Dan had a way of making everyone feel seen, supported, and encouraged. His presence reminded us that true sportsmanship isn’t about winning—it’s about character, kindness, and lifting others up. This award is presented each year to someone who embodies those same values: positivity, encouragement, grace in defeat, and joy in the success of others.

Through this award, we keep Dan’s legacy alive—celebrating those who, like him, make the rodeo arena a better place just by being in it.
