Seussical the Musical is a vibrant and whimsical show that brings to life the beloved characters and stories of Dr. Seuss. The Cat in the Hat serves as the narrator, guiding you through the adventures of Horton, JoJo (a young Who with a big imagination), Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie, and the other citizens of both Nool and the world of the Whos. The story weaves themes of friendship, loyalty, and the importance of fighting for one's beliefs. I hope you enjoy this musical that celebrates the power of being unique and the joy of imagination. The 7 p.m. performances are scheduled for Nov. 14, 15, and 16. Tickets are available now online via this special link, or by scanning the QR code on the show’s promotional poster pictured above.

One Stoplight Town tells the story of a place so small you might pass through without a second glance, but those who pause see a rich tapestry of lives intertwined. Mean Girls, the brutally hilarious musical from book writer Tina Fey (30 Rock), lyricist Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde) and composer Jeff Richmond (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt). This queen bee took Broadway by storm and has joined the musical in-crowd. Adapted from Fey's hit 2004 film, Mean Girls was nominated for a staggering 12 Tony Awards.

Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady devises a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung.

Come support CHS Theatre students this Oct. 26, 28; Nov. 2-4th at 7pm- and tickets can now be purchased online!!! Peter and the Starcatcher is a prequel to Peter Pan based on the children’s book and adapted for the stage. The story is a deliberate low-budget spectacle: an extravaganza of staging that relies on storytelling instead of expensive set pieces. The story is jam-packed with poetry, fart jokes, gentle lyricism, and numerous nods to pop culture; it is however a coming of age adventure about how a nameless orphan - inspired by a remarkable and ambitious girl - became the strange and celebrated hero that is the Boy Who Would Not Grow Up! See you there!
