THE VERY FIRST HOOPLA RISING ARTISTS.

I don’t even know how to put into words how proud I am of these incredible humans.

I watched each of them take an idea that existed only in their head and turn it into something real—with their own hands, their own voice, and their own vision.

And at the HOOPLA Tea Party, they took those creations down the runway and shared them with a room full of people.

HOOPLA Rising was built around the idea that taking up space doesn’t have to look the same for everyone.
It can be loud. It can be quiet. It can be joyful, vulnerable, messy, bold, and completely unexpected.

And these artists proved exactly that.

They took risks. They problem-solved. They trusted themselves. They made art that was completely their own.

And then they TOOK UP SPACE.

To the very first HOOPLA Rising artists: thank you for trusting me and this completely new program enough to be part of it. You will forever be the group that helped bring HOOPLA Rising to life.

I am SO, SO proud of you.

WE MADE HOOPLA. ❤️

I’m still trying to wrap my head around yesterday.

After months of dreaming, building, planning, creating, problem solving, stressing, laughing, crying, and making an unbelievable amount of HOOPLA… it actually happened.

And somehow, it was even more beautiful than I imagined.

I have SO much I want to say.
So many people I want to thank.
So many moments I want to share.

But for now, here’s just a little preview of what happened yesterday through the eyes of the incredible Ezra Croft. 📸❤️

I’m going to be sharing a LOT more soon.

But today, I’m just sitting with this feeling...

We did it.

We spilled the tea.

We took up space.

And we made HOOPLA. ❤️🙌

After months of creating, planning, building, emailing, problem-solving, and making SO MUCH HOOPLA…we’re here.

Tomorrow I get to watch the first HOOPLA Rising artists take the runway, debut the Suffragette White Collection (in progress!), and finally share everything I’ve been working toward.

Its taken so many people to make tomorrow happen- and I'm so epically greatful to all of them.

I’m nervous. I’m excited. I’ll probably cry. 😂

But mostly, I’m just really, really ready.
