Are you in the Raleigh-Durham area and looking for a unique way to support the tigers at Carolina Tiger Rescue? 🐅🎨

In honor of International Tiger Day, our friends at and tattoo artist are giving back in an incredible way! Brian has created four original tiger tattoo designs and will be selecting two people to receive one. If you're chosen, you'll make a donation directly to Carolina Tiger Rescue in exchange for your tattoo, helping provide food, enrichment, veterinary support, and lifelong sanctuary for rescued wild animals.

Every review you see here represents someone who took time out of their day to share their experience with us and with the community. It means more than we can say!

For a small business like ours, reviews are one of the most meaningful ways people can support what we do. They help others find us, they help us grow, and they allow us to keep doing the work we care deeply about here in Durham.

We also understand that getting tattooed isn’t always something people can prioritize. It’s a luxury, and we’re very aware of that. Also, tattoo projects end (sadly 😔) and you may be done getting work for now. Leaving a review is a completely free way to support us.

If you know us already, you know we are a small team of passionate creatives who care deeply about tattooing as an art and a service. We have poured a lot of love, time, energy, and effort into Ethereal and it means everything that folks feel that positive energy when they step into our space. Yesterday Brian mentioned that he’d love to tattoo more eyes, so I wanted to share some of his favorite eye tattoos. Lifelike eyes are an aspect of his realistic portraits he gets lots of compliments on, both with humans and animals! In addition to portraiture, tattooing large, detailed eyes as the primary subject is a something he would love to do more of. 👁️

Aida added to her super cool collection of body art with this custom ornamental spine piece. Yasmin created this fine line tattoo with all 3RL (a smaller needle grouping) and her client remarked that the sensation was milder compared to her bolder work. We get versions of that a lot—our clients often find our artists’ techniques to be more pleasant than expected 😌 less trauma to the skin also means easier healing for better results!
