Thinking outside the box? Todd Levins takes that idea quite literally!
With a willingness to experiment, challenge conventions, and push the boundaries of his materials, Todd creates one-of-a-kind sculptural works that defy expectations. Some serve a practical purpose, while others exist purely for the pleasure of form and aesthetics. Each reflects his inventive spirit and curiosity about what’s possible.

Come explore Todd’s imaginative creations at 5 Points Gallery!

SAVE THE DATE! Join us Friday, October 16 , 6-9pm for the Opening Reception of
JENNY BLAZING: CAROLINA, OR THEREABOUTS

Enjoy the Third Friday Durham Art Walk & Gallery Crawl!

5 Points Gallery is pleased to present Carolina, or Thereabouts, a new exhibition of mixed-media paintings by Featured Artist Jenny Blazing exploring the shifting nature of place through observation, memory, and imagination. Grounded in Blazing’s experiences of Carolina, the layered works draw from travel, accumulated visual memories, and unexpected connections that emerge as the paintings evolve to create landscapes that feel familiar without belonging to any single geography.

Throughout the gallery, visitors can also enjoy work by our ten Triangle-based artists, offering a refreshing mix of painting, sculpture, fused glass, mixed media, and finely crafted furniture, with each artist bringing a distinct creative perspective.

Carolina, or Thereabouts runs from October 15 through November 14, 2026.

A quiet beauty unfolds in Yuko Nogami Taylor’s COTTON, where delicate natural forms meet the luminous surfaces and rich material traditions of Nihonga-style painting. Silver leaf and Awa-washi paper add subtle shifts of light and texture, inviting a closer look.

An unlikely gathering, perfectly at ease.
In King Nobuyoshi Godwin’s painting, inspired by the giant African shoebill stork, it is unlikely that the massive bill will be used on its companions.

A roll of the dice, two lives crossing, and a story suspended somewhere between chance and choice. In Annie Nashold’s It’s a Crap Shoot, vivid color, pattern, and gesture tumble together, leaving us to wonder what brought these two together, and what happens next.
