Pyxis Creations Original art created by me. I love playing around with different mediums. I hope you like what you see here. My newest works include acrylic pours.

I do these with my 12 year old daughter. She has quite an eye for it.

Playing with my new watercolors that Dave brought back for me from Italy. Just something fun. I’m also starting to realize that I really like using white for accents.
The also adds an added layer of fun. Thanks to Andrea Nelson for this prompt.

I took my lady from one sketchbook and put her in another! I decided to collage a background for her. Thanks to Danielle Donaldson | Artist for the inspiration.

It’s been a while but I’ve been playing with my art supplies. This is made with pens, Sharpies and watercolor. It’s inspired by a page in Danielle Donaldson | Artist book Creative Girl. I love her style. I had fun making this my own but now I need a background idea.
Should I
Cut her out and collage a background for her?
Do a light water color wash?
Or
Do I do some bold stripes with Sharpies?
Let me know what you think!

Thanks to for my new shirt. I love it! If you missed out on the shirts you can get the same logo on stickers. 😁

This was fun. Do I love it? Nope. But I do love PARTS of it.
As I read by I’m being reminded that not everything I do has to be just right. It’s very freeing.
Still behind but some days of being iced in may help me catch up. .nelson.art may finish long before I do but I will end up with a sketchbook full of fun art that I created.

One way I’m avoiding the cold today. Thanks to .nelson.art for the recommendation.

Not too shocking but I’m behind on my 30 Day Sketchbook Challenge. Not letting that stop me though. It will definitely take me more than 60 days but I’m determined to do all the prompts.
Who else is doing this one?
