We were delighted by the Tallywood Sign (and dismayed by the state of the shopping mall) when we did the Fayetteville Modern Survey in 2009. Now the sign is in danger of being demolished, and there is a petition aiming to preserve it.

Bull City Bungalow Days
Saturday, April 23 - Sunday, April 24
12:00 - 4:00 pm
Tour Headquarters: Geer Street Garden, 644 Foster Street, Durham

Advance tickets (on sale now!) - $21.50 (includes sales tax)
Day-of tickets - $26.50
Student tickets - $11.50
Kids under 12 are free

Attendees can see all the houses on one day or split them between both days. See the houses in any order. Self guided tour - using the map included in the booklet.

A great historic rehab that used preservation tax credits *and* put a woefully underused building back to full use in our lovely little downtown Durham. I had the pleasure of working on the tax credit application and seeing the project from start to fabulous finish. Go enjoy the art!
