Tango, the music of Buenos Aires, is also one of the most beautiful dances of modern times. We conceive tango dance as a projection of the culture of our native city of Buenos Aires. The beauty of Argentine tango resides in the elegant movements and inspiring pauses achieved through communication and musicality. The mission of our classes is to pass on to students our love for the tango music and

dance. Our focus is on communication, elegance, and musicality respecting both the tradition and evolution of the dance. Our knowledge of tango music and more than 10 years of experience dancing together allow us to transmit the elements of the dance with a perspective for both men and women’s roles and techniques, providing the elements of tango as it is danced nowadays in Buenos Aires.

Eduardo R. Lazarowski was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a retired scientist with a passion for Argentinian history and tango. Dr. Lazarowski is a tango instructor and DJ and has lectured on tango history across the U.S.

Tango friends, here is a great opportunity to attend a show by local musicians. Tango Love Story is a concert directed by Alma Coefman, local flute player. The show tells a love story through instrumental pieces performed by piano and flute, and reciting of tango lyrics and tango poetry. It also incorporates multimedia art, masked performers, and dancing performed by local couples. The musical pieces are mostly from the vast repertoire of Piazzolla so this is an opportunity for you to listen to music that is not played at milongas.
When: Saturday March 2 at 7:00 PM
