What a fun weekend! Everyone pulled amazing pots out of the soda kiln.

We packed the kiln full in our first Studio Maypop soda firing workshop! We fire today, and are so excited to see the results come out on Sunday.

It’s maypop season! Stop by the studio today until 6, check out some pots, and sample our namesake fruit.

Maypop is the colloquial name for the native passion fruits that grow here in North Carolina. They have stunning flowers (echoed in this bowl), and the fruit tastes sort of like a tropical passion fruit mixed with an apple. They grow as abundant spreading vines.

The gallery is stocked full with beautiful new pots from the soda kiln! Come out today until 6 or Saturday 10-1 to pick up a piece or two for your home or for a friend.

Wow y’all, we’re really feeling the love! Thank you to everyone who stopped in the shop yesterday, sent us a message, or purchased a gift card. We are so grateful to be a part of the community.

The sale is continuing today and tomorrow. We’re open until 6 today, and have extended our Saturday hours to be 10-3. Come on out and pick up some beautiful work at 10% off, to help us bounce back from the break-in we had last week. Gift cards are also discounted through the weekend, and available at the link in our bio.

Last week our studio was broken into. 💔 The good news: everyone’s safe, and the art in the gallery came through almost completely unscathed. But the building took some damage, and we lost some tools and equipment along the way.

We’re asking our community for a little help getting back on our feet — everything in the gallery is 10% off this week. Come say hi, soak up some good energy, and maybe take home a piece you’ve been eyeing.

It’s a little chaotic in here with construction going on, but we’re open til 6 today!

We’re in the process of getting a beautiful transom window made, so there will be even more natural light and openness in the shop.
