We still have some spots open on our upcoming Adult Field Trip to Lavender Hill Farm on Monday, June 29th. Register online or you can call or email the P&R office to reserve your spot.

About the trip:
The group will enjoy a walking tour of the farm, sip on the farms own lavender lemonade and pick a fresh bundle of lavender to take home. There will be time for questions and answers with the farmer, and a picnic lunch to conclude the morning tour. $40/person, includes transportation, tour & picnic lunch. Lavender Hill Farm is in Berwick Maine.

Registration for the 6th Annual Trot in the Trees 5K Trail Race and 1 Mile Fun Run is now open! Save the Date for Sunday, Oct. 4th for this fun and adventurous race! Register for the 5K by Sept. 6 to get the early-bird pricing along with a sweet Trot in the Trees race shirt with your guarenteed shirt size. A portion of the race proceeds will go towards youth recreation scholarships for Oyster River community members looking for assistance with Oyster River Youth Association and Durham Parks & Recreation program registration fees.

Registration is now open for our next session of Spanish Conversation Group, A2 Level- Mid-Beginner Level for adults who have had some exposure to the Spanish language.

Upon entering level A2, students can introduce themselves, speak simple sentences in the present tense, and use basic vocabulary. The emphasis during the A2 groups is on expanding conversation, reviewing present tense conjugations, and beginning to use the past and future tenses in conversation, while expanding vocabulary. A2 level students will begin to construct sentences and feel comfortable speaking when traveling.
