Did you enjoy O-Show? Are you super excited to enjoy it tomorrow? Are you super busy this weekend so you couldn’t make it to any of the shows but still want to learn about hoof ‘n’ horn? Then you should come to our FALL GBM!!!!

Monday, August 31st, existing members can join us at 6:30pm and new/prospective members can join us at 7pm to learn about all the exciting things we have planned for this year!

Last but certainly not least ⭐️INTRODUCING OUR MARVELOUS MADAM PRESIDENT: SOPHIA!!!⭐️

Sophia is a senior from Baton Rouge, LA majoring in public policy and theater studies. With Hoof’n’Horn, she has performed in A Chorus Line, Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, and Ragtime. Sophia loves to choreograph and served as last year’s choreography supervisor. She has choreographed for the past two o-shows and was the choreographer for last fall’s production of Cabaret! Sophia is honored to serve as the president of Hoof’n’Horn for this season and can’t wait to see the amazing performances the organization puts on this year!!

Krishna Shah is a current senior from Miami studying Economics and Public Policy with a minor in Political Science. She enjoys studying international development, revolutionary histories, and random phrases in different languages when she’s not listening to musicals on repeat. Around campus you will often find her running late to her next commitment, yet still making rounds at WU. Vani is a sophomore from New Delhi, India, who is (probably!) majoring in Public Policy with Global Health/ Biology. She’s been involved in HnH from her very first day at Duke-as part of the PC for Cabaret, Hairspray and Ragtime-and loves all things backstage! When not busy trying to identify who has the @ #$%!&* #&@* phred key, you can usually find her involved with iGEM bass connections, AGS and Help Desk. In her free time, Vani likes screaming mindlessly at Cameron Indoor, pretending to lift weights at brodie, and watching awful shows with her friends.

⭐️INTRODUCING OUR POWERFUL PLAYREADING CHAIR: SOPHIA!!!⭐️

Sophia is a Junior from Hot Springs, NC and is thrilled to be Playreading Chair. She is studying Mechanical Engineering and somehow managed to also fit in a Theater Studies major. She claims that Hoof’n’Horn is the only thing keeping her sane through this degree though it may actually the primary cause for any premature grey hairs or sleep debt she may or may not be experiencing. In the past she has costume designed Falsettos, Cabaret, and Ragtime, and has performed in Legally Blonde, Hairspray, and Ragtime. Outside of HnH, she is involved with Duke Players and Duke Chorale, and can often be found crashing out in the costume shop or Hudson Hall.

Daniella Zalik is a Sophomore from Atlanta, Georgia studying Neuroscience, Philosophy, and Music. She is thrilled to be co-cabaret producer this year with the amazing Reese Ritter. She was first involved in Hoof n Horn in the cast of cabaret and then as co-music director for Ragtime. Outside of theater, she likes to write music, bake, and read any book she can get her hands on.
