Hitched to the current space,
Tethered to another place.
Masks to hide my foreign face,
Plastic and polyester lace.
Am i less of the person
That i believe to be
Because i left the soil
That nurtured me?…
F**k cultural authenticity—
What i really want is reciprocity,
To smother the animosity,
To burn the crabs in a bucket mentality.
I shed my armor of thorns
And my crown of bloody horns
And remind myself that I was born
Naked with the blood of my mother and her mother’s mothers.

Stay tuned, stay connected. Kapwa Kodex is a seed I’m slowly nurturing, refining, and sometimes incubating as I often have to go out in the world and participate in the capitalist agenda 🐒 but i return, into this intangible space, digital or liminal, and find you guys in all your beauty, proactive dreams, woes, and nuances, comforting me in our invisible refuge of kapwa

They will familiarize themselves with the necessary bookbinding tools, as well as the variety of materials that can reflect the intention behind the book.
