SHOP UPDATE
Cappucino and Mushroom Valentine's Cards are in the shop! Both handprinted, original linocut cards are available in two versions: printed directly onto a 5"×7" folding kraft paper card, or printed onto white paper and mounted onto 5"×7" folding black card. Both options include stamped envelopes, so all you need to do is write your sweet love message and pop them in the mail!

💖Valentine preview💖
I'm actively focusing on creating beauty, on love and coziness and self care right now, in this time of literal and mtaphorical cold and darkness. Art is my therapy and therapy is my therapy.

I have reimagined Valentine's Day for myself as a day to celebrate and honor the immense amount of love in my life, platonic and familial, romantic and animal. I make valentines every year for my students and friends. This year, I'll have a few linocut cards in my shop so the love can spread wider. They'll be added this weekend--stay tuned. Willow and Fern catblocking my work on a gift so pretty I want to keep it!

"Chip it Good" stashbuster baby quilt in progress, made with fabrics I've had for years and years. Perfect precious sweet baby cats who love to interrupt my sewing, which is really the only thing I want to do right now other than pet them, but I am dutifully working on job applications too, I swear.

Weighted Lavender & Flax Eye Pillows are finished! These little cuties have proven health benefits: the light accupressure on the eyes stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system and Vagus nerve, which help us relax. They can also relieve headaches, and the lavender scent is calming. You can heat them in the microwave or cool them in the fridge. Part of me hopes there's one left over that I can keep!

Find me and these beauties at the Haw River Ballroom Holiday Market tomorrow, 9-5p, and Sunday, 9-4p. I'll be in the Hawbridge School, which is also the best spot to park. See you there!

It's been years since I've done this much sewing! It feels wonderful to sit cut strips of beautiful fabric--most of which I've had since the mask-making days of early 2020--to arrange colors and patterns, and to sit with my machine. I feel so powerful when I sew, despite my aching neck and back. 😂

I'm working hard to bring beautiful things to the Haw River Ballroom Holiday Market this weekend, like:

Mini barn quilt ornaments and panels
Quilted pillowcases and relaxing eye pillows
New stickers and holiday cards
And my original linocut prints

You can do all your holiday shopping at this epic, indoor market, while supporting local artists and small businesses! I'll be in the Hawbridge School, across the street from Haw River Ballroom. Saturday, 9am-5 and Sunday, 9am-4pm, December 7 & 8. Grab a latte from , lunch at or , and shop to your heart's content.

Fun fact: I grew up in the area and played softball for the Swepsonville-Saxapahaw team when I was 5 and the mill was defunct. It's always a joy to visit and see what a gem this town has become, thanks to .
