Greetings Family,

Mr. Tabb and Mr. Cason were honored to present the Triangle Performance Ensemble's Jeannie H. Lucas Hall of Fame Scholarship Award to Antoine Whitted, Jr. and Khalil Smith. Each recipient received $500.00.

Triangle Performance Ensemble has given over $10,000.00 in scholarship money to Hillside High School. Thanks to all of you for making this possible by your commitment to Triangle Performance Ensemble.

Thank you so much to everyone who attended and supported the world premiere of our new show Wendell Tabb’s The Third Day. Saturday, April 18th 3:00 pm showing was sold out for The Third Day.

We would like to send a special shout out to the cast and crew of The Third Day alongside the dancers and musicians.

We would also like to thank the writers of the play and music for bringing the words from the pages to reality.

Wendell Tabb’s The Third Day, produced by Triangle Performance Ensemble is a powerful and inspirational new gospel stage play drama focusing on themes of faith, family, redemption, and forgiveness. Wendell Tabb’s The Third Day is based on the Passion narratives from The Gospels in The Bible and a modern adaptation of the end times in the Book of Revelation.

Wendell Tabb’s The Third Day follows two families life-changing experience as they are brought together to participate in their church’s Easter play about the life and final days of Jesus.

What begins as routine tradition slowly unravels into something far more revealing.

Old wounds surface. New temptations creep in. Faith and family bend under pressure. The line between past and present blurs, while the story they're

(The World Premiere)

Wendell Tabb’s The Third Day, produced by Triangle Performance Ensemble, is a powerful show about redemption and forgiveness. The show is based on The Passion narratives in the Bible and a modern adaptation of the end times. Two families are brought together to stage the church’s Easter play, The Third Day. What begins as routine tradition slowly unravels into something far more revealing.

Old wounds surface. New temptations creep in. Faith and family bend under pressure. As the production nears, the line between past and present blurs, while the story they're telling on stage begins to mirror the one they're fighting to survive.

The Third Day will be performed April 17-April 19 2026 at the John H. Gattis-Wendell Tabb Theater on the campus of the historic Hillside High School in Durham, North.
