You're never too old to come to Kid's Night. Despite the fact that my regulars were sick, on vacation, or had other things going on, Mary Jane brought her grandkids and we had a blast making personal chalkboards. We embellished them with ceramic magnet blanks we painted. They turned out great! We'll do them again before long. MJ said she wasn't artistic but you don't have to be artistic to be creative. Creativity is intelligence having fun! Her grandkids are artistic and creative and very well behaved. Tonight is Ladies Night and we will be making crystal suncatchers. These are glass and crystal beads, not plastic, and will great gifts or something you'll not want to part with. I've got about 20 kits made up or you can design and make your own from the many parts I have. Tomorrow's slip casting class is full so if you want to learn slip casting, sign up for the next class in August.

Saturday Slip Casting Class is full. I will try to schedule another slip casting class in July if anyone is interested. Kids Movie Night is Thursday, cost is $15, we will watch a movie, do a craft and have a snack. We will be decorating personal chalkboards to use as personal activity check off board. Friday is Ladies night, we will be making crystal suncatchers. Cost is $15. Please call and register so we have an idea of how many to prepare for. Children under 6 must be accompanied by a parent. Tonight is Texoma Artisan and Craftsman Guild meeting at 6. I've made 15 kits that are each unique and have extra parts and pieces if you want to create your own. Come make your own crystal sun catcher. I've been making and selling them for about 2 weeks.

Thanks everyone for your support and prayers Pneumonia isn't my cup of tea. I'm starting to feel normal again and and hope to get everything fired that is ready. Thanks for being patient with me. Donna Murphy came by and brought the boys. They are so creative. They got their glaze on, finished 12 hand built pieces, got them ready to fire. I am working on a class schedule for June. If anyone is interested in teaching a class, please let me know. Stephanie is planning on teaching several kid classes in June. I'm going to teach big mouth sculpting class, and clay building and a slip casting class. I'm getting gourds ready for gourd birdhouse class. Anyone wanting gourd seeds, come by and get some. We have people interested in taking a wheel class just need someone to teach it. My hands just won't throw pots anymore, I did too much silversmithing. We have plenty of clay if you want to come by and play in the mud. Walk-ins are allows welcome. T-shirts are on sale. S-2XL- Reg.$15, now $13. 3XL-5XL- Reg $17, now $15.

I had a great time meeting and watching creativity flow with this group of Art majors that wandered in today. Look forward to providing a creative space for them to create and show what intelligence having fun looks like.
