The Durango Creative District is thrilled to have been chosen as one of five communities in the state to pilot a “Creative Aging” residency program in fall 2026.

To kick this program off with a bang, we’re partnering with Durango Comedy & Events and Andrea Rossi to offer a “Creative Aging Stand-up 101 Class.” Participants learn how to build a joke, command the stage, & find your comedic voice in this free 4 week program! The only requirements are you are over the age of 65.

This initial class is totally FREE thanks to support and funding through Colorado Creative Industries , Think 360 Arts for Learning , and Lifetime Arts (Creative Aging) , and even comes with free tickets to see a live performance by Susan Rice (Susan Rice) at Durango Arts Center !

Max 15 participants. Registration sure to fill-up quickly, so reserve your spot today! Link in bio.
